Wakat Sea Breeze Resort is the newest tourist destination in Bislig City. This resort resembles a mini-Maldives since it is located in the middle of the sea facing Hagonoy and Lubas islands. The resorts name Wakat means "Mangroves" in Visayan dialect, as there are plenty of mangroves surrounding the area. You will have to pass through the mangroves before you can reach the resort. The resort is ideal for picnics; family gatherings; team buildings and they serve freshly caught seafood.
In order to reach this place, you need to take a pump boat (motorized boat) from Brgy. Caguyao. A roundtrip fare costs Php 50.00 (USD 1.00) per person and the entire boat carries a maximum of 10 persons. You can hire the entire boat for Php 500.00 (USD 10.04). Currently, this resort is only famous to locals and only few tourists knew this place.
