Hagonoy Island
is a privately owned island and resort located in Bislig Bay. This island is so small that you can
just roam around it for about 10 mins.
It has fine cream sand (almost white) and corals and shells scattering
along its shoreline. The
water is so clear, cool and not too salty, just perfect if you love to bathe
even under the sun.
At first I thought this is the same island in the Britania Group of
Islands, but I was wrong. Bislig
also has its own Hagonoy Island.
This is just a 5-min. boat ride from Wakat Sea Breeze
Resort, so I decided to drop-by to this island before going back to Brgy. Caguyao. The usual route to this island is to take a pump boat from
Brgy. Tumanan in Bislig. There
are also some pump boats in Brgy. Mangagoy, that goes directly to this island. An entrance fee of Php 50.00
(USD 1.00), will be collected by the caretaker upon your arrival in the island.
